As most of you know I have chosen to live a God centered life. Out of God’s endless love for me and my love for Him I make decisions that would bring glory to Him. Ultimately I know from the Bible and history that God’s set up our Kings/Rulers(Psalm 2, Psalm 45:8-9, Psalm 148,Prov. 8, and so on and so on) …whether they be good or evil. He is a “good daddy” allowing trails to come to us at times to grow us (many examples in the bible, one particularly with an evil King in the book of Daniel). So I am praying and know that God’s will for America will be done. No matter whom He allows in office. I also know that God, the creator of life, believes life starts at conception and any type of murder in the womb is not only socially wrong but is against His will. I believe that a hundred years from now, whether you base your life on Christ or not, that we will see abortion as one of the most horrific mistakes our generation has made… killing our generation off by the millions. I know that John McCain is older and I believe that is to his strength. That his wisdom and experience will help our nation both is this economic crisis and in with resolving the wars of this world. He knows what is cost to have our freedoms and he knows what freedoms make America so great. At first I had heard so much about McCain and his issues that I was turned off by him, but after watching all of the DNC/RNC and debates and not all of the frivolous opinions I have notice one thing clearly. Both John McCain and Sarah Palin recognize “they” are not the “Answer” that “we” all together are the answer. Every time I hear Obama speak he notes that “he” is the “Answer”. I know that this one man as ambitious as he sounds cannot change America… that it will take a lot more. And I respect McCain’s humility and wisdom in recognizing that. As many of you know I think Palin is pretty cool not because she is cute and tough but because I can see God’s favor upon her. He has raised her up for such a time as this and her life brings glory to his name. The media has tried to mock her but never has my respect for her changed. She is the first Politian in my life that I know is not into Christ because it will get her votes. She genuinely has an active relationship with God and I know that God has honored her because of her bold stance for Him. I do think she can lead in a moments notice not only because of her experience but also because of her God. I don’t know why one would vote for Obama. I see that he is an eloquent speaker and he has plenty of experience in “running” for President, but hardly any experience in leading and that is obvious even as I have watched him change his whole philosophies to try to get votes. I honestly don’t know for sure what direction he will really go on most subjects because he has changed his mind so many times. I know there will be trail if he becomes president. I am not afraid of it because my trust is in one who never changes… Jesus. So on Nov. 4th please consider the weight of your decision and vote with wisdom, but trust God’s will is going to be done and fear not man. |
